BizFix was founded by Oliver Smith, who moved from the UK to the U.S in 2005 and has spent the past two decades building a career in accounting, finance and business operations.

Having worked closely with business owners across industries including architecture, e-commerce, manufacturing and entertainment, Oliver saw firsthand that most owners don’t just need someone to keep their books - they need someone they can trust to understand their business, answer the phone and help them make sense of their numbers.

That became the idea behind BizFix: practical, hands on financial support without the corporate feel. Oliver is personally involved with all clients, providing everything from day to day accounting and bookkeeping, to cash flow management, financial reporting and fractional CFO guidance.

For Oliver, BizFix is about building long term relationships with business owners and becoming someone they genuinely rely on.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad to two teenagers and they’re a huge part of my life.

I’ve always loved being outdoors. Give me a snowboard, a surfboard, a campsite or any excuse to get outside, and I’m happy. Some of my favorite time is spent camping with my family on the Kern River or getting up to Mammoth in the winter and making as many memories as possible.
